It’s that time of year when the book industry begins gearing up for its signature event, Book Expo. As reported in Publisher’s Weekly this morning, this year’s BEA is set for May 24-26 at the Javitz Center in NYC.

Note that self-publishers do have their own annual conference, too. It’s called Self Publisher’s Book Expo. Looks like their conference is held annually in the fall. The Self Publishing Review had a few comments about the 2010 conference, if you want to have a look.
