In It Went without Saying, Joyce (mom), John (dad), and Jamie (daughter), openly recount their journey together through pain, to truth and healing.
Talking with John, Joyce, and Jamie was a treat. They discussed the problems that denial causes in families, obstacles to honesty and forgiveness, as well as the letters–the basis for their book– that Jamie’s mother wrote when talking to each other was almost too difficult.
