The New York Times Book Review Includes eBooks

This weekend, the New York Times Book Review included eBook sales. A historic moment!

On a “sad” note, Borders will likely be announcing bankruptcy this week. I remember living in the Detroit area of Michigan and working for Waldenbooks first superstore at the time Borders went public. Then, Borders had just two stores, one in Ann Arbor and one in a nearby suburb. I remember Borders used to give a literary quiz as part of the application process. (I even took it!) When Borders went public and Kmart took the reins, many booklovers felt it was a poor fit culturally. Who knows, maybe two brothers from Michigan will try opening a great independent bookstore…
